There was only one non-Muslim family in a village.

There was only one non-Muslim family in a village.

When the time of death of a middle-aged woman of this family approached, a respected and religious elder of the village, along with a few worshippers, went to visit her from the mosque.

After reaching there and inquiring about her well-being, the elder said:

"Bibi! You have lived a long life. Don't you understand that Islam is the only true religion, in which there is prosperity in both this world and the hereafter?"

She said:

"You mean that I should recite your Kalima?"

The elder said:

"Yes! We want your hereafter to be beautiful. May Allah Almighty shower his blessings on the entire village."

 The woman said:

"I will recite the Kalima, but tell me which Prophet you will recite to me?

The Prophet of Light or the Prophet of Mankind?

From the time I regained consciousness until today, I have seen that you people have made your Prophet ﷺ the center of disagreements.

The disagreement between Light and Mankind,

The disagreement between being alive and dead,

The disagreement between knowing the unseen or not,

The disagreement between Milad and the celebration of Eid-e-Milad.

When you people agree on one thing, then I will recite the Kalima."

 Then she said again:

"But even after that, there will be a problem. After reciting the Kalima, someone will say, become a Barelvi, someone will say, become an Ahle-e-Hadith, someone will say, become a Deobandi, someone will say, become a Shia,

So where will I go?

You people have divided the religion into pieces. Whoever has the piece that came to him, he established on it.

Which one of those 73 sects is the one that can be called a person of Paradise?

First, a person gets the sect of his ancestors, then he starts worshipping the religion within this limited circle, making it a problem of ego.

First, you yourself come to the religion of your Prophet ﷺ instead of the sect of your ancestors, then I will also accept your religion."

Hearing this, the elders remained silent. If someone had been from the opposing sect in front of him, they would have given him a stern answer, but what could they have said to this non-Muslim woman now?

This story is just an allegory, but unfortunately, the things mentioned in it are more than 100 percent true.

Unfortunately, today we are defending our religion less and defending our own sect more.

When Muharram comes, the debate begins,

When Rabi' al-Awwal comes, we wake up,

When Rajab comes, voices start to rise.

But apart from these three months, have we ever sat together and tried to end these differences in the remaining nine months?

Have we ever thought about how we can gather as a nation, so that the observer says,

"Yes, these are Muslims and these are those who follow the Sunnah."

But no... We just have to pull each other's diapers, sometimes a fatwa of disbelief on someone, sometimes a fatwa of blasphemy on someone, a fatwa of polytheism on someone, a fatwa of munkar on someone, a fatwa of bid'ah on someone

They issue fatwas as if the religion of Islam is their only heritage.

Even some people who are addicted to marijuana and cannabis come to my posts and give fatwas.

Some call me an atheist, some call me a liberal. It is not enough to first look at the profile of a person instead of judging him on just one post. And what is his nature.

Well, the biggest problem is... considering yourself perfect and giving fatwas to others.

May God guide everyone and grant them the ability to adopt the original teachings of Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him). Amen.
