🟠 Afghanistan refuses to open transit gate with Pakistan:

🔶 The Afghan Taliban interim government has refused to open the transit gate with Pakistan, saying that the transit gate will not be opened until strong, credible and practical international guarantees are provided.

🔶 Officials say there is no urgent need for it in the current situation. Afghan government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that Pakistani authorities tried to enter some UN containers into Afghanistan in the name of aid, but the Torkham Commissionerate sent these containers back after a thorough inspection.

🔶 According to officials, there must be clear, strong and practical guarantees before any decision regarding transit is taken. They said that there is no possibility of opening the transit gate in the current circumstances, as this decision was taken keeping in mind national sovereignty, security concerns and protection of national interests.

🔶 The Afghan government also emphasized that Afghanistan will not accept any pressure or compromise on its territory, system and national security, and all decisions will be made keeping the national interest in mind.

🔶 It should be remembered that as a goodwill gesture of Pakistan, the World Food Program aid containers arrived at the Torkham border yesterday.
