 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister approves historic development package for PK-44 constituency on the occasion of Havelian Chamba Jalsa

On the occasion of Havelian Chamba Jalsa, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on the occasion of the appreciation of Member Provincial Assembly PK-44 Iftikhar Ahmed Khan Jadoon and the special request of Member National Assembly Ali Asghar Khan and Member National Assembly Ali Khan Jadoon, approved a comprehensive and historic development package for PK-44 constituency. This package will prove to be a milestone in the overall development of the area, public welfare and improvement of basic facilities.

Under this development package, construction of 40 km of new roads in PK-44, establishment of a modern technical college in Havelian city and construction and expansion of 22 km of road from Havelian to Neela Canal Valley, which will not only improve travel facilities but will also promote commercial and economic activities.

 Taking another revolutionary step in the education sector, modern educational complexes will be established in Chamba, Nowshera and Kalu Mera (Tehsil Havelian), while the construction of Girls Higher Secondary School Abdul Qaddar in Lower Tanawal will ensure the promotion of girl child education. In the health sector, 3 BHUs and 5 basic centers, dispensaries and 10 community centers will be established to provide quality facilities to the public. Along with this, important decisions like approval of SNE for the newly constructed hospital in Shirwan, upgrading of BHU Bodla to RHC and granting THQ status to Type D Hospital have also been taken.

 Under the Infrastructure and Local Government Development, the foundation stone of Abbottabad to Shirwan Road was laid, land for the cemetery was purchased, the expansion of the Korean Water Supply Scheme for Sultanpur, Chamba, Jhangra, Kashka Panjgran, Bandi Attai Khan and a special grant of Rs. 500 million was also approved for the beautification and decoration of PK-44.

The people of the area thanked the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and especially Member of Provincial Assembly Iftikhar Ahmed Khan Jadoon and Member of National Assembly Ali Asghar Khan MNA Ali Khan Jadoon, saying that the development works are what they appear to be. The approval of development projects worth billions of rupees is a true expression of public aspirations.

After Haripur, a new era of development has begun in Havelian as well, while the credit for eliminating deprivation goes to the elected public representatives. This historic package is being described as a decisive step towards public welfare, employment opportunities and sustainable development.
