Some shortcomings in praying in the two holy mosques and with women in congregation*

*🎯 Some shortcomings in praying in the two holy mosques and with women in congregation*

Since women are not usually accustomed to praying in congregation, they fall prey to some mistakes and shortcomings in prayer. In such a situation, it is necessary to correct them with the intention of goodwill and compassion so that their prayer is correct, complete and accepted and they are not deprived of the great reward. When you have come here after spending so much, save this journey from being wasted!!

*⛔ Mixing with non-mahram men*

Being gentle in mixing with strangers and non-mahram men, or pushing them, or standing with them while praying, is the wrong way.

The correct way is for the rows of women to be separate from the men, and the best row for women is the last row.

*⛔ Negligence in standing in rows*

Not paying attention to the order of standing in rows or not paying attention to a woman straightening the rows is also a wrong practice, because straightening the rows is an essential part of completing the prayer.

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Straighten your rows, for straightening the rows is part of the prayer." (Bukhari: 690, Muslim: 433)

Another hadith states:

"Straighten the rows, for straightening the rows is part of establishing the prayer." (Bukhari: 723)

Hazrat Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to straighten our shoulders during prayer and say: Stand straight, do not differ, otherwise there will be differences in your hearts. (Muslim: 432)

Hazrat Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to straighten our rows as an arrow is straightened, until one day when he understood, he saw a man standing in front of the row and said: O servants of Allah! Straighten your rows, otherwise Allah will put differences in your faces. (Bukhari: 717, Muslim: 436)

*⛔ Leaving spaces between rows*

Faraj means not filling the empty spaces in the rows, sometimes women put their belongings and do not fill the gaps in the row due to laziness, although this is a mistake and a great reward is missed.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever fills a gap in a row, Allah will raise him one degree in return."

*⛔ Passing in front of a worshipper*

Passing in front of a worshipper in the place of prostration or in the middle of a row without a sutra (barrier) during voluntary prayers is a great disrespect and can disrupt the worshipper's prayer.

*⛔ Talking about unnecessary and worldly things*

Talking about unnecessary things between prayers, especially loudly, and if the talk includes backbiting, joking, or useless conversation, it is even more harmful.

Remember! Excessive talk and jargon destroy the humility of prayer, as Allah Almighty says:

"Successful are those believers who are humble in their prayers, and those who turn away from jargon." (Al-Mu’minun: 1-3)

⛔ The full reward of Hajj or Umrah can sometimes be lost due to the following:

① Unnecessary arguments, quarrels, hurt feelings and causing pain to others.

② Giving fatwas without knowledge, discussing it and not consulting scholars.

③ Moving unnecessarily during prayer, which not only destroys one’s own humility but also disrupts the prayers of others, and in some cases even breaks the prayer.

④ Not taking care of the religious veil during prayer, such as wearing perfume, showing one’s adornment, or exposing the neck and feet.

⑤ Not taking care of physical cleanliness, cleanliness of clothes, or coming after eating garlic, onions, etc., which causes pain to others and spoils their humility.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said that angels are annoyed by things that annoy people.

⑥ Some women need to perform ablution between two prayers, but due to the rush, they are lazy and pray without ablution, even though the ablution has been broken due to sleep, etc., so such a prayer becomes invalid.

Muslim sister! Gain understanding of religion, learn the correct methods of ablution and prayer so that your deeds are not wasted!
